Some people chase success. Kimberly Cano creates it — but not in the way most would expect.
An entrepreneur, certified life and health coach, speaker, and bestselling author, Cano has built a career around one guiding principle: purpose before performance. Whether she’s writing under her pen name Natasha Brune or mentoring business leaders through her company Kawaiola Life Design LLC, her mission is simple — to help others create lives that feel as good as they look.
Her calm, thoughtful energy fills the room long before she starts speaking. “When your inner world is in alignment,” she says, “your outer results naturally fall into place.”

Q: Kimberly, your background covers so many industries — real estate, construction, coaching, writing. How do you bring it all together?
Kimberly: I think of myself as a bridge builder. My work connects personal growth with professional purpose. Whether it’s developing property, writing a book, or coaching a team, the goal is always the same — to build from the inside out.
Through Kawaiola Life Design, I help entrepreneurs and creatives align their mindset with their goals. Because real success isn’t just reaching the top — it’s feeling fulfilled when you get there.
Q: You’ve worked in real estate and management for years. How do those experiences shape your approach to coaching and speaking?
Kimberly: Those fields taught me resilience and vision. In real estate, you have to see what doesn’t exist yet — that’s creativity in action. In construction, you learn structure, discipline, and teamwork. Those same lessons apply to life and leadership.
When I speak, I share real-world strategies — not theory. I talk about real estate development, business leadership, mindset, and personal reinvention. My goal is to help people grow with intention, not exhaustion.

Q: You’ve also found great success as an author under the name Natasha Brune. What led you to writing?
Kimberly: Writing has always been healing for me. The Wise Marie series was born out of real stories — of recovery, resilience, and redemption. Marie, the main character, represents parts of all of us. She’s been through life’s storms but finds her way back to strength and peace.
When The Los Angeles Tribune and The International Impact Awards recognized the series, it was humbling. But what moves me most are the messages I get from readers who say it helped them see their own healing in a new light.
Then there’s Wise Marie and the Little Ladybug, my children’s series. It’s full of warmth, kindness, and imagination. My dream is to visit children’s hospitals and read to kids who are fighting cancer — to remind them there’s still magic in the world, even on the hardest days.
Q: You recently appeared on The Eric F. King Show. What messages do you love sharing when you speak publicly?
Kimberly: I talk about writing your story — in every sense of the word. Whether it’s building a business, publishing your first book, or reinventing your career, it all starts with mindset.
I speak about authentic leadership, resilience, storytelling, and purpose-driven entrepreneurship. I love showing people how to turn life lessons into leverage. Because when your work is rooted in purpose, it doesn’t just change your life — it impacts everyone around you.

Q: The Aloha Jigsaw Foundation seems to be close to your heart. Tell us about its mission.
Kimberly: It’s my heart, truly. The Aloha Jigsaw Foundation is a nonprofit focused on empowerment and education. We’re opening our first academy in Conifer, Colorado in 2026, and it’s something I’ve poured my soul into.
A portion of my book proceeds goes to the foundation. It’s about giving back, helping people rebuild, and offering support to those who need a second chance. My long-term goal is to work with the foundation full-time, creating spaces that inspire growth and healing.
Q: What’s next for you?
Kimberly: I’m stepping more into public speaking and global coaching. I want to continue writing, expanding my reach, and sharing the message that success and peace can coexist.
Everything I do — from real estate to writing to philanthropy — connects back to one belief: that purpose is the foundation of everything.
“Purpose isn’t something you chase,” she says with a soft smile. “It’s something you live. When you lead from the heart, success follows naturally.”
