When you meet Melissa Lori, it’s easy to see why she’s spent more than 15 years in front of cameras. She has the kind of presence that belongs on magazine covers and in music videos. But sit with her long enough, and you realize there’s much more beneath the surface—an artist, a healer, and a woman who’s constantly reinventing herself.
Q: You’ve been working in entertainment for a long time. Do you remember what first pulled you in?
Melissa Lori: Honestly, it started with modeling. I was young, curious, and I loved the idea of telling a story without words—just through an image. It wasn’t always easy, but those early shoots opened doors to magazine features, covers, and collaborations I’m still proud of today. Looking back, I think what really hooked me was the challenge. Every shoot taught me something new about myself.

Q: A lot of people would have stayed in that lane. But you branched out—music, podcasts, videos. What pushed you to keep exploring?
Melissa Lori: I never wanted to feel boxed in. Music was my way of pouring emotions into something lasting. Writing and singing gave me a release that photos couldn’t. Then podcasts and videos gave me another chance to connect, to actually let people hear my voice and my thoughts. It’s scary to put yourself out there in new ways, but that’s where the growth happens. And I’ve always chased growth.
Q: Recently, though, your path has shifted again—into health and wellness. How did that come about?
Melissa Lori: Becoming a Reiki Master changed my life. I’d always been interested in spirituality, but this felt like a calling. The entertainment industry can sometimes feel surface-level, and I wanted something deeper. For me, Reiki, wellness, and mental health became just as important as the creative work. Helping people tap into their own strength—it’s powerful. It feels like a different kind of spotlight, but one I’m proud to stand in.

Q: That’s a big shift. What do you hope people take away from watching your journey?
Melissa Lori: That you’re allowed to evolve. The version of me people first knew isn’t the version I am now, and that’s okay. I think too many people feel stuck in what others expect from them. If I can show even one person that it’s possible to embrace change—inside and out—then I’m happy. We all deserve to step into our truest selves, no matter how many times that self changes.

Q: And what’s next for you?
Melissa Lori: I don’t think my story will ever be “finished.” I want to keep blending my creative side with my healing work. Whether that’s through new projects, collaborations, or just helping people one-on-one, my goal is to keep growing. I really believe the best chapters are still ahead.
Melissa Lori’s career has been anything but ordinary. She’s proof that beauty isn’t just something you see—it’s something you feel when someone is brave enough to live authentically.
