At a time when fashion often chases fleeting trends, MAP Designs is building something lasting. Made in NY brand, founded by Mira Adaeze Precious Yaache in July 2024, is redefining luxury through purpose, craftsmanship, and storytelling.

Born with an eye for design and a love for detail, Mira’s passion for fashion started long before her professional journey began. With roots in Trinidad & Tobago and Nigeria, her creative perspective blends cultural depth with contemporary sophistication. Her goal was never just to make beautiful clothes—it was to create pieces that elevate presence and express purpose.

“I wanted to create purposeful clothing that speaks for you the moment you enter the room, and keeps speaking for you long after you’ve left.”

A Fresh Take on Occasion Wear

After growing frustrated with the lack of originality in the fast-fashion world, Mira turned her frustration into fuel. The result was MAP Designs—an occasion-wear label devoted to crafting timeless, luxurious pieces for life’s most meaningful moments. Produced exclusively in New York City, the brand works with local artisans and sources materials from Dubai, Italy, Africa, and Asia, keeping its creative and cultural roots alive.

Each collection embodies MAP Designs’ core philosophy:
“Saying a lot, without saying a word.”
It’s about confidence that speaks quietly, and elegance that endures.

A Standout NYFW Debut

In Fall 2025, MAP Designs made its highly anticipated debut at New York Fashion Week with The Fashion Life Tour at The Westin Times Square, unveiling its second capsule, “CELESTIAL – An Angelic Revenge.”

The show featured Kiara Belen, among other models, who brought Mira’s ethereal designs to life on the runway. The collection drew from Roman architecture and celestial mythology, weaving the brand’s signature floral motifs into every piece. A standout look—a lustrous teal satin gown embroidered with angelic figures and Roman columns—captured the collection’s spirit: powerful, poetic, and unapologetically divine.

Other pieces, including delicate cotton lace gowns with hand-beaded details, reflected the brand’s meticulous craftsmanship and storytelling. Across ten womenswear looks, MAP Designs told a story of duality—soft yet bold, romantic yet fierce, delicate yet commanding.

CELESTIAL – An Angelic Revenge” felt like more than a fashion moment. It was a message about reclaiming power through beauty and presence—a reminder that looking divine is, perhaps, the most exquisite form of revenge.

Timelessness as a Statement

In just over a year, MAP Designs has grown from an idea to a brand that resonates with authenticity and purpose. Mira’s work reflects more than design—it’s about transformation, both personal and collective.

As she continues to shape her creative legacy, one thing remains clear: MAP Designs isn’t chasing trends. It’s honoring the timeless.
